Hitachi HDtv sound is not working???

I have had this tv for about 2 years now. No problems at all. All of a sudden I tryed watching tv 5 min ago and the sound is not coming out anymore??? Why does this happen?? All plugs are in correctly it is wall mounted.
Why is the sound not coming out??? How can I fix it???
Also the sound works on the dvd player, but when im watching tv it does not.
Well, the problem is either the Tuner’s audio mode is set for SAP or the tuner audio is completely dead….
Look at the audio settings, check for an MTS button on your remote and see if SAP was accidently set instead of MAIN audio…..
